Central photocell is a device dedicated to the midiBLUE street lighting control system.  The device measures sunlight intensity and sends information to a server. Thanks to the central photocell connected to the midiBLUE system, we may accelerate or delay turning on/off of the street lighting depending on atmospheric conditions. In cases of a sudden weather deterioration in the sunset zone, the device shall immediately send to the server a signal containing the information that there has been exceeded a permissible threshold of light intensity. The server shall provide such information to controllers and lighting shall be turned on across the entire zone.  Such solution allows for an appropriate visibility on the streets as well as gives residents and guests a sense of security. However, on a sunny morning, the central photocell shall send to the server an information, which causes that the street lighting is turned off earlier than planned.

The central photocell shall be installed in a sunny place, so results of light intensity measurement were as good as possible, and the device is not covered. Practically, it means installation on a roof or pole with appropriate mounting strips. After having installed the central photocell in urban space, it must be installed in the midiBLUE system on a given user account. We guide through the entire configuration process. Also, do we offer professional consulting as well as ensure post-sale support and free trainings.
